V ACCHIEHC International Congress

Last October 27th and 28th LBF was part of the V International Congress ACCHIEHC “At the forefront of the Integral Management of people with wounds, stomas and incontinence”.
Several modules dedicated to topics relevant to nurses such as Compression of Extremity Injuries, ISTAP, Consesos and Nursing Care Management were held.
LBF provided demonstrations and user manuals for products such as Novamed, hyperoxygenated fatty acids, as well as Allevyn Life, a multi-layer dressing especially indicated for the prevention of pressure injuries.
On this occasion, our Product Manager, Marcela Herrera, was present and gave a detailed account of the experience.
“There was a comprehensive tour of relevant topics of interest to nurses involved in wound healing in our country today.”
The Congress had the participation of foreign guests such as the distinguished Professor Schulz, who contributed with a wide range of topics and with the updating that is required to advance local knowledge.
Regarding the guests from our country, Herrera pointed out that
“They realized that in several areas of interest, follow-up and research are being carried out with high standards and a lot of individual effort.
In summary, ACCHIECHC manages to convene in person and online, opening another space to contribute to the knowledge of nursing dedicated to Advanced Wound Management in Chile.
