5-Layer Hydrophilic Foam Dressing with Adhesive Silicone Edges for Sacral Area

ALLEVYN Life Sacrum is a multi-layer hydrocellular foam dressing with silicone adhesive. Both its innovative combination of layers and its new design make ALLEVYN Life a unique and different dressing that can be used especially for the prevention of pressure injuries in the sacral area, and can be used in other areas of the body if required (e.g. heel). It is also indicated for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds with fragile perilesional skin.

• Silicone adhesive that protects the perilesional area in patients with fragile and delicate skin and allows peeling and re-gluing.

• Highly absorbent central layer that retains exudate and prevents leakage.
• Indicator of dressing change due to saturation. Allevyn Life indicates in a simple and clear way when to remove it.
• It maintains its cushioning effect under pressure and releases pressure, which allows its use to prevent and heal pressure injuries and with compressive bandages.
• Its outer layer is impermeable to water and bacteria, but lets out exudate in the form of steam. It is not occlusive.
